TN Guns on Campus
A bill to allow people to keep guns in their car has cleared a committee. Your car is an awful long way to go to get a gun when you need it. And, since you’re at your car, you should probably just leave.

I agree with you, but incrementalism is the only way to regain our rights when in the face of pants-wetting hysteria. I laughed and laughed at all the people in my former state, Texas, wringing hands over open carry. They were so worried about the police just shooting random carriers. I kept pointing out to my friends and family back there that there are several states, some with large cities, that already had open carry and the police handled it fine.

It is a good step. Now commuting students can have a defensive weapon while traveling to and from the campus.

Well, since the entire business starts when you’re in your car, maybe you should manipulate that round arm rest thingie and make the car go to where you’re allowed to have one with you in the first place.
If only there were enough employers in that category…..

If you can. Because now, many places go on LOCKDOWN at the first notice if an “active shooter”. That way their unarmed victims are trapped. Eventually any survivors are allowed out with their hands up for LEO, Cellphones are reportedly confiscated lest any unauthorized video accounts of what happened are allowed to be reported by the media.
