I wonder how far Tennessee would drop down the list if Memphis/Shelby County, Jackson, Nashville, Knoxville and Chattanooga were factored out.

Rick – my guess is more people in TN carry without a permit than with a permit anyway. And I agree, the permits are for the city slickers, like me.

Fred, probably true and that would be in accordance with the DECLARED right enumerated in Article! Section 26 of the Tennessee State Constitution. Hopefully a pursuant and redundant Constitutional Carry Bill will bring our Legislature and statutory law into compliance.
