Wait, you mean the NRA manufactures guns
I know that feeling. This election could have been great. But it’s grating. And, the latest polls here show that the Trumpanzees are leading. Cruz may get Texas though.
Went out to pick the lesser of evils, since this election may be close in Tennessee. A few things:
I was the youngest one there. And I’m 44.
They asked which primary I would like and I said “Neither. But I guess I’ll go Republican since, you know, votes there actually matter, unlike for Democrats.”
Someone voted but didn’t hit submit and then left. So, two election workers went over there and hit the submit button. They said that they needed two because they need a Democrat and Republican to witness when that happens. I asked “What about independents?”
Are there other objects (other than guns and SUVs) that people think can act on their own?
A man who thinks anyone should be able to buy a gun posts a video on youtube saying he’ll buy guns for you for a price. Well, the ATF was not amused:
9Wants to Know learned ATF agents conducted an undercover buy with Francis, who bought guns at two sporting goods stores in the Denver area last month.
Court records show Francis has been indicted for making a false statement to a firearms dealer and for unlawful disposition of a firearm.
In 1986, a total of three million firearms were produced. In 2013, it was well over ten million. Pistols (here used to mean semiauto handguns) totaled over four million in 2013 — so the number of handguns made in that year was greater than total firearms production in 1986. Total gun production doubled, repeat doubled, between 2010 and 2013.
Why not Where Great Britain Used To Be: The people who want the UK’s gun laws relaxed
Looking to loosen gun laws. Probably because they make the news regularly for arresting someone passing through. Speaking of, charges were dropped against the most recent person to leave America for NJ.
Businessman to require all employees to be armed. But, please, someone tell them the Judge is probably only good for rabbit hunting.
State of the art, chest mounted shotgun. Well, OK.
And, speaking of oddity, here’s a knife sling shot combo.
So, the Atlantic says that the AR-15 is too powerful for civilians to use, even though it had written a bit a while back on how the platform sucked for soldiers.
Heh:
Library officials have told Nashville’s chapter of the Black Lives Matter movement that meetings restricting those who attend by race aren’t allowed on public property.
The decision has outraged Black Lives Matter members. But Nashville Public Library officials said theyre following a library policy that specifies all meetings at their facilities must be open to the public and news media.
I’m sure they wanted separate but equal.
The “assault weapons” case, that is. This should be interesting. And more so given what may happen at SCOTUS.
A Pennsylvania corrections officer who says he was the victim of a car accident in New Jersey ended up facing charges himself when he told police he had a handgun.
Raymond Hughes told The Associated Press on Friday that he and his wife were on their way home from a concert and dinner in Atlantic City last month when the crash occurred in Glassboro.
He told police he had a handgun under his seat, and officers secured his personal 9mm Glock handgun while he went to the hospital, he said. But days later, he was charged with not having a New Jersey permit despite having a license to carry in neighboring Pennsylvania.
“I’m one of the good guys,” Hughes said. “Now they’re trying to make me one of the people I protect society from.”
Well, since everyone has a SWAT team . . .
A Postal Service police officer started shooting when he was spooked by a rat in a darkened Post Office Friday morning, sources said.
The officer had his gun and flashlight drawn as he investigated an alarm that went off at the Manhattanville Station of the USPS at 365 W. 125th St., near St. Nicholas Avenue, sources said.
Only the police should have guns.
Took a break from the internet. Feel smarter already.
A good piece over at Joe’s. This was rather surprising:
During the next four years, the number of permits surged by 850,000 per year. Then from the end of 2011 to 2013 the yearly increase rose by 1,550,000. And during the last year the increase has continued to accelerate to 1,700,000.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
