GA just passed campus carry…except you can’t carry where there are lots of people, like dorms, sororities, or sports events but at least they are “allowed” to be safe in class.
And far as TN goes the law is just stupid. May I please have a gun? No…but you almost can…maybe a little more if your good.
Funny, I always had a gun in my car while attending university in TN. Accidentally wore it into class a few times too. Nobody knew, very few died, none from being shot by me.
Why just permit holders. It should be any gun owner. If you can own a gun you should be allowed to carry it, or at least take it in your vehicle, any where in the state.

“Solely”? Like they wouldn’t find some other pretext? This is as dumb as what they did to the guns in cars bill.

wildbill, exactly. That’s exactly what we in TN can do now. (Last year’s gift from our betters in Nashville.)
