While we’re a ways away from this happening in the States, we’ll never be united enough for ALL of us to say “This line and no further” where infringement on our rights are concerned, because we already threw away that bravado when our father and forefathers (and yes, even you and me) agreed to background checks, fees, state and local legislative difference of opinion, federal NFA regulations and so on openly or otherwise. You and I, no matter how much we bitch and moan, still won’t carry in a Federal building or a courthouse, do the paperwork and pay the government to have suppressors, apply for concealed carry licenses and submit to not carrying in states that aren’t friendly with your state. In spite of the great freedoms we still enjoy, we are still in a very deep hole of our own digging and have set a disastrous precedent that when the Law says “Don’t do that”, we bow our heads and obey, while declaring to fight for our rights with lawsuits and voting people out of office when we should have collectively shouted “NO!”

Once again, the very government people who utterly betrayed their nation into the hands of foreign terrorists, use their failure to oppress their own citizens. This pattern plays out over and over.

MJM, you’re exactly right! And that’s what they want for us here. That’s why the tyrant-traitors say they will, for now, let you keep your guns for hunting and target shooting. They want to constrain guns to a narrow licensed activity or to a gun range where eventually your guns will be kept locked away and you, as a controlled handler, will be labeled a potential domestic terrorist, as has already been done by DHS re: gun owners and other pro Liberty, pro Constitutional government undesirables.
