When will Tennessee Legislators and the Governor obey our State Constitution (Article I, Section 26) and stop ILLEGALLY requiring a permit and a “poll tax” to exericise our basic DECLARED right of armed self defense?

  2. Lyle Says:

Just to be absolutely clear; that’s “concealed handgun”. Open carry without permission from daddy government was already legal. Governor Otter complained about it because it has no requirement for training (daddy doesn’t like his wee bitty kids, the citizens of Idaho, doing things without his approval and certification) but it passed the legislature with such a majority he pretty much had to sign it.

And so it is that we see the effects of local politics. The states will lead and the country will follow. The next state will have a little bit better chance at constitutional carry after this, and so it goes.

Since the Federal Government is a creation and agent of the States, that should be the pattern, especially in the matter of expanded and declaration of rights according to the 9th and 10th Amendments.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
