Old people to weak to handle guns?
So says Gawker. Based on the author’s appearance, I’m guessing most old people are stronger than him.

Well, I’ll be 81 in May. In my briefcase I carry a suppressed full auto MAC 10 in .45 and two spare 30 rd mags. And “something else” in my pocket or holster. Who wants to screw with this old man? Jack.

Little “Hambone” paints with too broad a brush.I’m 69 and have carried a 1911 and two spare magazines for about 30 years. Before that carried a variety of revolvers and pistols. Recently have been carrying a Springfield xDs in 45 APC, because it and two magazines are easier to hide under a shirt, in warm weather. I work out at the gym 3 times a week and routinely ride a road bike 30-40 miles in 2- 2 1/2 hrs. I know a 90 year old who fought in North Africa, made the D-Day jump at Normandy and the drop at Bastogne. He is the nicest guy on earth, but he would kill you in a New York second, if you gave him cause. Believe me: there are some tough old buzzards out here.
