The way to stop this shit would be a lawsuit by the power company. First, this is a seizure under the 4th amendment, of the power company, because it was on their pole, and was probably wired in to steal electricity.
Don’t even worry about the “search” part. Go after them for the trespass and the stolen power. Then we can start talking about the 3rd Amendment violations.

I’m guessing they were spying on the ammo company mentioned in the 2nd article?

Leatherwing, I’m guessing that with a warrant, a lower-court order, a SCOTUS writ, a grand jury indictment, a bill of information, several FOIA applications, and a smile, you might find that out in six to eight years, under the right administration.

A long pole, a can of spray paint, and a hinge, duct taped to the end of it, and a long string.

Better a 1mw laser played across the front of the device; or for those of us who don’t have access to a laser, just a few rounds of .22LR from a suppressed rifle would probably do the trick…

UN Ammo Company (unammo.com) – high volume ammo dealers (good prices, too!). I can’t imagine why ATF might want to harass them, though.
