None of these toys are free. So, this generation is walking right through the front gates of the prison compound and paying for the privilege. You know you’re screwed when you are left with Microsoft and Justice Dept slap fighting over your freedom.
Everything the gov does is legal and everything you do is regulated, prohibited, taxed or outlawed because nine ass-clowns in robes said so. Name the fucking thing that gov does not claim authority over. Name one single thing.

I posted this on David Codreas blog in response to a story about the Textalyzer, but it’s just as relevant
Somehow, the 4th amendment has gone in my lifetime from Probable Cause to Reasonable Suspicion to because my dog said so to there’s an app for that. Thia is not the America I grew up in, and certainly not the America our Founders envisioned
I suppose this is what happens when bearing true faith and allegiance is just lip-service to a paycheck

NY state is trying to create a law that’d allow any police officer to check the phone of any person involved in an car accident. With no right to refuse, and license revocation if you do try to refuse. They’re even talking about “removing the inter-state driving rights” of a non-NY resident who refuses…..

Simple solution – leave your cell phone at home when you are out doing things or going places you don’t want to be tracked by Microsoft or Apple or the government.
Amazingly, I spent entire decades of my life unable to instantly access the internet, post a picture online, or call someone without finding a landline phone, and I survived. So did hundreds of millions of others.
Geez, it is like we want to be able to do dangerous things without taking any of the necessary precautions for success. Leave that cell phone at home when out being subversive.

Simple solution – leave your papers, personal effects, and cavities at home when you are out doing things or going places and you don’t want to be searched.
