A silly law proposed in California (of course) will allow your neighbor, boss, random healthcare professinoal or whoever to take out a “gun violence restraining order” for likely no reason.

I, for one, would hate to see this law used by someone who feels threatened by public officials with firearms, such as law officers, local prosecutors, judges, jail guards, probation officers….

How about we come up with a “Threat to Liberty” restraining order then? It would apply only to politicians, judges, all their advisors and employees, and the police – anyone who has the power to influence, make or enforce law and opposes the rights of citizens.
You Progressives out there are really trying your damnedest to get your asses kicked, aren’t you? You haven’t thought this through too well, it seems. Maybe you’re confusing our patience and tolerance to this point as weakness.
