Back when I was shopping for cans in 2007, AAC was a go-to name. “fully welded inconel core” is burned into my brain. Then AAC got bought by Remington and there was a rumored mass firing.
What happened to the company? I was looking at suppressors recently, and there are MANY more options today than in 2007. Is AAC still a leader?
I have one of these. Mine does exactly this too. I prefer that it come apart here (I mean, come on, there are threads there) so I can complete a more thorough cleaning.
Sure I reckon you could locktite it or rocksett it etc, but why? I have mine on a Scorpion SBR and it is very well suited for that platform.
The Tirant is dated for sure, but still one of the highest rated 9mm suppressors that can be purchased.

According the manufactures web page this is “ultra high performance”.
