Way to take a stand, Bill
Our governor is letting the guns on campus bill become law without his signature. I suppose it’s better than a veto. He seems to only be pro gun when running for office.

I think the General Assembly’s vote made it clear he’d be overridden next year. They’ve already crossed swords with him on a lot of issues. He must want something from them next year, probably a gas tax increase.

Maybe he deferred to the super majorities by which “guns on campus” passed in both the House and Senate. And he gets a tiny bit of extra credit for not vetoing since the Legislature adjourned without scheduling veto override sessions which an be fine by simple majority. But with no signature, he signals that he’s basically anti-gun rights and not supportive of the declared right of the people in theTennessee Constitution.

So, when y’all passing Constitutional Carry, and how often will that happen before he yields on that, too?

mikee, Constitutional Carry will happen when one of the members of the Legislature gets ready to run for Governor and shepherds the bill through, so they can have some street cred.

True, and just like the other members of teh GOP in Tennessee other than Duncan, they have all been a bunch of Obama loving cretins. They have really shown their true colors over the last 8 years and need to be replaced by actual republicans with a set.
