There was a show on a cable crime channel recently about people, untrained, unlicensed, with no safety concerns and horrible results, made lotsa money injecting silicone into people to sculpt their butts. While a licensed plastic surgeon would use medical grade silicone implants for such aesthetic surgery, these people went to Home Depot for their silicone lubricant grade stuff, and used turkey basters. Lives were destroyed and lives were lost, for a few hundred bucks each.
On the other hand, those people were charged with assault and murder as well as practicing medicine without a license. Beyond needing a quick rinse to get any cheap shampoo out of my hair, what could an umlicensed shampoozler do to harm me?
