Moms Demand head makes unsubstantiated claims about violent gun owners

You know, Shannon, if we gun owners were as violent as you said we were, you’d probably have been attacked by now.

You know, for all of these people who say they receive death threats, how come we never see one police report, one screenshot of a tweet, Facebook post or e-mail, one posted list of call detail from a phone bill tied back to the time of the threat?

Making such threats are a crime. I think it doesn’t actually happen much if at all so people can use such accusation to bolster their perceived legitimacy or avoid serious discussion on the issue they are reason. Easier to accuse gun owners of threaten to kill them as a means of making their message seem more true or legitimate than it actually is.
