Some churches have seats reserved for the elderly and the handicapped. My old church made a point of holding the aisle seats for folks who had a hard time getting around, so they could go for communion (and get up in the middle of the sermon, if they needed to) more easily.
But that’s nether here nor there.
Just wow.
My grandparent’s church didn’t reserve seats. But by arriving insanely early for the 7:30am Mass on Sundays, Grandpa always got to sit in “his” pew. There is more than one way to demonstrate “holier than thou” publicly.

If you go to a church where they reserve seats, other than for first time visitors and special occasions, find another church.

Takes a swing at an armed man. Ends up dead. Think of it as evolution in action.

Remind me not to go to that church.
