“Control by freakout “. Simple mind control. If you went apeshit around your kids over some mundane thing, and did it consistently over a long period of time, over and over, and pretended to be totally serious, never wavering, eventually you’d have them freaking out over the same thing. If you had their babysitters, school teachers and college professors doing the same thing, the kids would have almost no ability to avoid becoming freaked out, pissed off little shits. They’d end up nervously avoiding foods with gluten in them, and eating super low fat diets, for example, or voting for Democrats hoping for free education and free medical care.
