Some good points
Why I Switched to Double Action Semi-Autos. Todd Green, IIRC, said something similar regarding AIWB. I prefer the same trigger pull every time and haven’t switched to AIWB because I drive a lot.

The right gun for me is the one that I feel comfortable with, the one I will practice with regularly, the one that I will carry always, the one that I will use heaven forbid, when needed. What’s the right gun for somebody else? How should I know, it’s their gun.
AIWB is not for me. My pants tend to ride low making sitting an uncomfortable thing at times.

I’ve never understood the big deal anyway. Them what doesn’t like a DA trigger pull can run a DA pistol exactly as though it were a SA pistol, the only difference being trigger take-up. You either commit to thumb-cocking it for the first shot or carrying it cocked and locked. With a DA pistol then, you have all the options. What’s not to like?

Sounds like more of the perennial “chocolate vs vanilla” or “Ford vs Chevy” that’s been used to sell zillions of newstand gun mags over the years. Like Fred said, “it’s your gun, learn it.”
Those of us who are long term ICORE shooters don’t understand the hulabaloo over DA triggers….triggers are the digitally-manipulated mechanical device designed to be the final controlling interface between brain and target. Why would the gun user not learn its intricacies, independent of its operating mode?

FWIW, I drive a lot and can AIWB fairly comfortably and much more accessible when I use the right holster and probably most importantly proper position on my belt.
Also the Gadget for Glocks is finally about to ship. Too bad Todd Green won’t be here for it.

Tried AIWB, found it surprisingly comfortable, the big factor being my pants; some it works beautifully with, others for some reason it just won’t sit right.
Also very concealable. Fully understand why some aren’t comfortable with it, having a muzzle in that area does get your attention

I carry an AIWB LC9 with some pants, and in other pants it sits at 4 o’clock. But Adam, you say, that’s dumb because you should be practicing from the same spot, same draw, same presentation, EVERY TIME. I say specialization is for ants, and as mentioned above, the waist on some pants (dress pants, dockers, slacks) lends itself in my case, to AIWB, and in jeans, which ride lower, to the 4 o’clock position. I’d rather be comfortable and carry then uncomfortable or not carry. Learning how to draw two different ways isn’t a terribly mind bending or strenuous task…
