Can we put some adults in charge of the schools?

I’m not sure adults are allowed in many schools. They tend to weed them out in the colleges of education. By the time you get through all that, and the certification process, you’re pretty much committed to the authoritarian system.
This is why I keep saying that the Founders made a lethal mistake by not including education right along with religion in the first amendment, and for exactly the same reasons;
Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of education, nor prohibiting the free exercise thereof…”
With Incorporation Doctrine, that should apply to states too. In other words; hands off. No government schools. It’s still not too late. Almost but not quite. Problem is almost no one is talking about it, and this is one of our biggest problems right now.
You think you’re raising your own kids? Think again. The state will get to them one way or another, and almost always through the education system.

All admin personnel at that school should be fired immediately. How can people with zero common sense be entrusted with the care of children? It’s disgraceful.

What Lyle said. The problem with putting adults in charge of schools is that so few want to be part of the system. A friend of mine works as a custodian in an admin building, and she told me her greatest need was for fresh diapers and clean pacifiers.
