F&F was only ONE of many similar operations being run by BATFE Field Divisions across the country. They have twenty five such Field Divisions, and smart money says EVERY ONE OF THEM had their own version.
My local BATFE Field Division is in Tampa. They ran Operation Castaway, smuggling weapons to Communist terrorists supporting former president Zelaya in Honduras. Wonder why we have so many Honduran refugees invading our country? Thank Tampa! Of course, that Field Division had help. From the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, and the Miami-Dade Police Department. Congressman Gus Bilirakis from Florida’s Twelfth Congressional District got word of it in July 2011 and asked for an accounting. It is now May of 2016 and NOT ONE of those agencies, and NOT EVEN ONE of the officers in those agencies, has been honorable enough to give him that information. They sure were busy deleting files and shredding documents in the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office as soon as they heard of his request, however. And it’s amazing how a number of Sheriff’s Deputies from that office got performance awards that year, even though their records show NO activity whatsoever!.
A number of Brevard County Sheriff’s deputies have repeatedly complained internally about the Sheriff’s refusal to honor that request, but their retirement means more to them than their oath of office.
