Like you and me, only better
The other biased Washington paper:
The California state Senate voted 28-8 Wednesday to exempt itself from the pointless gun-control laws that apply to the rest of the populace. Legislators apparently think they alone are worthy to pack heat on the streets for personal protection, and the masses ought to wait until the police arrive.

Doesn’t that violate “the equal protection of the laws” in the 14th Amendment, which, with the 13th Amendment, overturned SCOTUS Dred Scott decision to end slavery?? Typically even liberal judges have cited that to expand the rights of the people on most other things.

Please stop posting this story. No such bill can be found
I like the idea of skewering my State Legislature more than you can imagine, but only with truth. This story is not verifiable as truth

That proposed law was from 5 years ago. Although all things “gun” have gotten worse in Kali, that one didn’t go through.

The on-going excesses of the CA Stupidslature is going to make a certain lawyer a rich man when they lose and lose again.
But really glad to see RideFast back in comments, my friend!!

Well, in old Mexico, they had the laws of continental Europe, Spain and France specifically, that had different laws and courts based on your membership in the aristocracy, church, etc.

I am unfortunate enough to reside in The People’s Republik of California, however, the Sheriff of the county I live in has what approximates a “shall issue” policy. It only takes waiting around for at least a year for them to get to your paperwork.
