Guns and gays
Ok:
If members of the Pink Pistols are really concerned about ending deadly violence in the LGBT community, they could start by cutting their ties with the gay bashers at the NRA.
Gay people attend the NRA annual meeting and that some are members. I’ve never seen anyone bashed.

Ah, the usual…. They take a few quotes, some out of context, from a few execs then extrapolate that to the entire ‘NRA’ membership because all of us can be stereotyped by the actions of a few.

Girl, guns are so rough trade. Leave them to the rednecks. There’s this divine studio where we can both take Tai Chi.

How do you bash someone holding a gun, anyway? Seems risky.

Been a Life Member of the NRA for over 40 years and I’ve never seen or heard “gay bashing” in connection with the NRA. I didn’t see a “sexual orientation” box on the membership application either.

Just make shit up…. If you say it often enough people will believe it.

How many Pink Pistols members are also NRA members? I don’t have any hard data (and don’t know where to even start to look) but I imagine it’s a Venn Diagram with an awfully big overlap… Anecdote is not data, but I’m bi and a member of both. My ex is bi, trans, a Bernie backing liberal, and a member of both.
Hell, just based on the relative memberships of the two groups, I’d bet good money that there is a sizable number of LGBT members of the NRA that have never heard of Pink Pistols (or had not heard of them until recent events).
