We hopes we’re idiots, and in many cases he’s correct. No matter how stupid or easily refuted, it always works to some extent. And then we’ll take the bait and say “Nu uh! There are lots of restrictions on guns…” thus shifting the conversation from human rights to technical details of the law. So even we fall for it. It’s pretty clever, even if it is butt simple and super easy. We suck that shit up every time, and eagerly.
