I can testify to the joys of seeing a vault of the Good Stuff — from the other side. I was at one time curator of a museum dealing with the history of electricity, and had the joy of taking Steve Karkus through the vault. (He was the Hollywood go-to guy if you wanted blazing sparks or electrical effects in your film.)
While he had reworked the original Frankenstein set electrical apparatus, he was seeing things from the deep history of his craft. We were two very happy people for a couple hours there, though I have no idea which of us was happiest. It was win-win all around.

The Savage .32, while art-deco modern, still does not match the absolutely lovely lines of the Colt 1903.
