It was ever thus, and ever shall be.
There are sooooooooooooooo many more important issues that can be laid at the feet of the president that his daughter smoking weed is somewhere down the list around the color of socks he prefers to wear. And I bet he doesn’t pick his own socks out each morning, and trusts his valet’s style and taste choices.
