Six12 to be made in Tennessee
Mentioned that Vantage LLC was coming to our state to build guns. They will be building the Six12 Modular Shotgun, which looks pretty sexy:

My first question:
Explain a bulpup revolver shotgun with the cylinder gap being next to the cheek weld?!?
May just be me, but It looks a little problematic in execution, let alone painful.

Made right here in Tennessee from US materials. Double up on the ears. Whoa that’s close.
I wonder how fast you can swap the “Removable 6-round cylindrical magazines”
“Interchangeable barrels” – I like that.
NO, guns are NOT inherently dangerous, people are. “REMINDER: Obviously, firearms are inherently dangerous. Users are responsible for complying with federal and local laws.” – I don’t like that.

I sent them a note:
Your web page says; “REMINDER: Obviously, firearms are inherently dangerous. Users are responsible for complying with federal and local laws.”
No, firearms aren’t inherently dangerous. Um, inanimate objects are not inherently anything, other than inanimate. People are however, inherently dangerous. You would think that the owners of a TN firearms manufacturer would have at least glanced at a holy bible. Come on guys.
I like the weapon. You’re getting a lot of free press in local TN circles. That statement is bound to raise some eyebrows. Tell your lawyers to think up a better one, that doesn’t disrespect God and doesn’t show an assumption that we are stupid.

Looks like a beretta CX4. But louder.

It resembles in appearance the old High Standard 10B

If that cylinder gap is tight enough to be safe next to your face, I wonder if it is tight enough to function with a suppressor, i.e. not leak loud gasses in a way that make having a suppressor as useful as a big frickin’ wing on the trunk lid of a Camry.
Since the barrels are modular, it’d be awful snazzy if someone made a barrel+suppressor so I could get in on suppressed shotgunning in a short package without running afoul of my state’s remnant SBS ban.

Um, I need to hide my credit card.
From myself.

Also, I thought this was a Crye project initially?
Did they sell it, or is Vantage part of Crye?

I don’t get it.
An average pump gun with an 18.5 inch barrel can generally hold 7+1, so I fail to understand the appeal of a shotgun that holds 2 fewer rounds and doesn’t appear to have the ability to easily execute a select-slug drill.

Tirno, look at the LE/Military part to the site, they show a suppressed version, but it does look like it still might be a SBS.

The 12 gauge for home use is a portable abatoir. Who needs that much of a mess in the living room? I go with a 20 gauge. At least it’s civilized, and very precise, with light and laser. Yes, if you’re out in the sticks, with bears, get a 12 gauge for outdoor use, but for home defense, the 20 is plenty, and I like my little Mossy PG 20 with laser/light for night time use, and my Ithaca 20 Defender for day time use. I can work with them at the range, without getting beat up. I have work to do on my vehicles, and at home, and I don’t need a 12 gauge piling on to make things even worse. Twenty is plenty for practice.

12 gauge is for people who do not have arthritis, or who are arrogant enough to anticipate that they will never get it. Buy a lovely, little 20. Work with it. Get over yourself. I mean, if you’re under 50. Otherwise, be as foolish as you please. You’ll have time to get over it, maybe. Good luck with that, maybe.
