Today, most people are acting like they knew about Aleppo yesterday

“journalism”: NYT didn’t know either.

  1. Ken in NH Says:

There are multiple reasons to think Johnson makes for a crappy Libertarian candidate and Aleppo ain’t one of them.

  2. MajMike Says:

I taught World History and Geography for fifteen years, so I knew where and what Aleppo is. That said, it was a poorly-worded question designed to trap Johnson. A better form would’ve been, “What do you think about the refugee disaster in Aleppo, Syria?” That’s the form I would’ve used for an essay question to my students.

Further evidence that minions of the CriminalLiberalNewsMedia are DemCong operatives with by-lines. They fear a Libertarian vote migration away from the Hildebeast.

  3. Heath J Says:

Johnson’s press dude actually responded to my Reddit question about how Weld. (Libertarian AMA couple of weeks ago)

It was basically “Weld has always been a small gov, liberty loving individual and I’m an idiot for looking at his past or even raising the question”.

A pox on both of them. Fast handbasket for the win.

If I sound personally vitriolic on this, it’s because I am. My party of choice has been commandeered by a couple of fucking Republicans.

  4. JTC Says:

In your last post about GJ a (now regretful) registered Libertarian asked “What happened to the party?”

I said what I believe; L vs. l. They don’t call it the “shift” key for nothing.

Still, this one was a planned gotcha and that ain’t right.

  5. Mike Says:

    “What’s email?” — Hillary Clinton
    “What’s math?” — Bernie Sanders
“What’s thinking before speaking?” — Donald Trump

  6. Ron W Says:

And I think I’ve been in “all 57 States” –Barack Obama

  7. Ron W Says:

@Ken in NH, yes, that’s very true. Many of his positions are leftist ones, not libertarian.

“Still, this was a planned gotcha and that ain’t right.” –JTC

I agree, especially with how the media played it afterward ad nausem. They make much more over rote minutia than what overarching policy views a candidate has. For the reasons above, I think Johnson is a phony libertarian, but he has to be taken down since he may be robbing Rodham Clinton of some her rightful votes.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
