About the weekend
So, bombings in NY. And in NJ. A mass stabbing at a mall. Shouts of aloha snackbar.
All small scale stuff. But it could have been worse, with a bit of coordination.
The mall stabbing guy was stopped by a competition shooter and police officer.

Falconer’s biography on his company’s website states that he is the former police chief of Albany, NY, and is still a part time officer and firearms instructor for that department. How can a man who lives and works in Minnesota be a part time police officer for Albany, a city which is 1300 miles away? My guess is that this allows him to carry weapons where us simple proles cannot, and may also allow him to own machine guns that are not allowed to be owned by mere mortals.
He is NOT a cop.

That mall’s code of conduct states that firearms and illegal weapons are prohibited, thereby making them illegaler.

“Falconer is the president and owner of Tactical Advantage LLC, a shooting range and tactical training facility with a strong focus on arming concealed carriers. Hes also a former chief of the Albany (MN) police department, and he remains a part-time officer.”
Scraped directly from the relevant article.

Under LEOSA, he doesn’t need to be an active officer to carry. He just had to have served ten years in good standing. I think the article is poorly edited-former Albany cop, current part-time cop elsewhere. Maybe he just likes being a cop.

Well, at least “nobody got hurt”.
Damn Gary, we need you to focus just a little and keep it together long enough to siphon off from the bitchbeast at least the dozen or so votes of your yella dogs.

Albany MN is just up the road from St Cloud.
I was up in the neighborhood last weekend (Alexandria) and passed through both towns. Kids made jokes about being in (Albany) NY.
There is a significant Somali population in St Cloud which the deceased was a part of, as well as the Twin Cities which has had a number of youths attracted to Al-Shabaab (Somali cousins of Al-Qaeda).
Good times up in the north land.
