Start a fire with a pencil
I learned this trick in prison (relax, I only worked there). The concept was slightly different. They’d put graphite in each side of an electrical outlet and drop some toilet paper on both pieces. Same concept:

You’re kidding, right? I don’t mean about being a prison guard; I mean about this Mickey Mouse fire-with-a-pencil stuff. If you have a battery and jumper cables you can heat up any small piece of metal and set anything on fire.

Some idiot is going to blow up his car battery trying this.

You haven’t created fire with a pencil, you’ve created fire with electricity, but hey, in to day’s world, that’s magic enough.

Lots of ways to start fire with your car. Mine holds almost 20 gallons of extremely flammable liquid that is super easy to ignite.

Why not just use the firestarter kit that you should be carrying anyway?

My pickup has an electric cigarette lighter, but maybe the automobile manufacturers don’t include those anymore.
So to make sure you can start a fire, you need to make sure you’re carrying a standard wooden pencil. That, or you could make sure you’re carrying a Bic lighter or other fire starter.
OK, it’s a cool video nonetheless.

I’m going to have to go with Ravenwoood and say that if you’re driving a modern motor vehicle, you have multiple ways of burning yourself to death unintentionally.
Starting a controlled fire is child’s play.
