If the Bodygaurd had the Shield’s trigger then we would have a perfect .380 pocket pistol. I’m probably the only person that likes a thumb safety on something carried in my pocket but that is a huge selling point for me.
“Beauty” lies mostly in the function. If you want a really pretty handgun, get one of the 1861 Colt Navy or ’60 Army repros. Once the grips are fit flush to the metal and the action is slicked up, they both look and feel wonderful. The fact that they’ll jam a lot on spent caps, are super slow to reload, and are large and heavy for their firepower by modern standards makes them “ugly” though, for a DPW.

The very angular style doesn’t suit my eyes. In other words it may be a fine gun, but it’s ugly.
