There is a letter to the editor ripping on some dude and his gun conversions that the mag did an article about. The mag had a response written by the conversion gunsmith, by the name of Dick Casull.
That magazine is fifty years old, and it is referring to an individual, constitutional right to bear arms. Funny. My betters tell me that the NRA invented that argument out of whole cloth in the 1990s.
The funniest article was about banning gun shows.
In 1966, the gun show loophole was that licensed dealers could only sell at their premises and weren’t supposed to sell at gun shows.
