The Para Ordnance LDA wasn’t actually a double action trigger.
The trigger in my 250 weighs seven pounds. That’s maybe a pound heavier than most Glock triggers. People can hit with it just fine as long as nobody tells them it’s supposed to be difficult.
The 250’s trigger is not heavy. Compared to other DAs and DAOs I’ve had, the 250 is the lightest so far. I got it as a “grandma gun” and I’d say that operating the trigger is not the limiting issue. I’d say that working the slide is probably going to be that limiting factor, because juuust as the hammer is being moved from its resting position, the slide has a major mechanical disadvantage due to working the hammer very close to its pivot axis. So I’m guessing that more grandmas will be able to work the trigger on my 250 (mine’s in 380) than to work the slide.
Few will be the number of grandmas (those grandmas for whom a grandma gun is necessary) able to stuff the last few rounds into the magazine without a loading tool.

These things would sell like hot cakes if the lightened the trigger something crazy like the Para Ordinance LDA was.
