Guh. It’s not as though no one knows he’s an SS agent & therefore armed. I’d be embarrassed for our nation if they think ‘fake arms’ is some kind of ninja-tactical advantage.
And if you’re right about the P90, it sucks & he’s definitely holding it wrong.
Shouldn’t this be categorized under “stop touching it”? The only place I can think where carrying “at the ready” is acceptable is when you are in a combat zone and the enemy is nearby.
Look carefully and you’ll see the dark haired female Secret Service agent also has a fake right arm. Best guess is that P90 held one handed alongside the right leg.
I worked from home that day and watched the entire Inauguration ceremonies. There were several Secret Service agents that kept their arms in that position, while others had their arms hanging loosely at their sides. My wife and I remarked on it and noticed that their arm position depended on their position in the phalanx.
Not so fast. They’re mechanical. Perhaps triggered by someone else. The pinky let’s go of the right arm. Then the thump will open and snap back. That triggers the pinky to once again graphics the hand.

Gosh, I’d like to have a P90.

Well, that gives up some flexibility for a moderate gain in speed, based on my guess of how he’s outfitted under the overcoat.

The right of the people to keep and bear fake right arms shall not be infringed.

While he may have a P90 under his overcoat (the thing looks to be at least two sizes too big), those are his real arms.

If you watch the videos longer, you will see him move his fingers and arm. It’s not a fake arm… He does have weird looking hands though.
