The Trumpening
I caught bits and pieces throughout the day of the White House press conference. And I can say this with certainty: In Sean Spicer, the press got exactly the press secretary it deserves.
They’re doing their jobs again.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

They’re doing their jobs again.
I didn’t realize their jobs were to whine and moan about the mean man who won’t accept their greatness.

So on a day when Trump met with UNION execs and wowed them, signed significant Executive Orders relating to gas pipelines, and had several cabinet picks confirmed, the press is still wasting time and pixels on a throwaway comment he made at the CIA about the election, which was back in November.
The press not only can’t keep up, Trump is living rent-free in their heads so hard that the press can’t see him trolling them. If he makes just one inane comment a week for the press to decry, his most controversial decisions and actions likely will never be reported, let alone analyzed.
