Shannon Watts may not be the dumbest person alive but it’s close
Shannon Watts is none too happy that the NRA has a program to educate kids on gun safety. Their program actually works by teaching youngsters actual safety in an easy to remember way. But we can’t have that because OOGA BOOGA.
I do actually like that our political opponents aren’t too bright. It makes it easier.

Please don’t confuse “dumb” with “evil.”

@rickn8or
Embrace the power of “and”.

Her argument is like the same tired, stupid argument against sex ed. It can end the same way:
“It just went off!”

Never interrupt your enemy when she is making a mistake.

When you have spent an entire career creating a fictional narrative, you can’t have anyone exposed to reality, any reality at all, that is associated with the fiction. That contact with reality might really mess up the story you are trying to create.
I bought my young teen son a Mosin back when he was a big fan of a video game about the Russian/German front. It changed his perception of the game significantly, and taught him a lot about shooting. Shooting a long, heavy rifle with any accuracy is harder than the game made it seem.

@mikee, I bought a Mosin M-44 some years ago. It was the carbine version, 20″ barrel. It was also unissued and so, in great shape. My Jr High step grandson at the time really enjoyed shooting it. The 7.62×54 is a powerful round. The robust wood and steel absorbed the recoil well, but it still delivers a pretty good kick; you know you’re behind some power. I very much regret selling it at cost, $155 along with 400+ rounds of very affordable ammo.

So, Shannon Watt not Watts?

As long as Maxine Waters sucks air, the title of “dumbest person alive” is pretty much sewn up.
