Chaffetz schools ATF lackey
This is just a train wreck on the part of the ATF agent:
Well, the youtube time comment made it worse.

Typical government bureaucrat. Nice to see him get a public smack down for his cavalier attitude.

…and *that* my friends, is the new training video for all ‘legislative affairs’ officers of 3-letter agencies.
Dumb. Dumb. Dumb.

“I was following orders.” Not joking, that’s what he said. Guess he’s never heard of Unlawful Orders or Nuremberg.

There’s swamp that needs to be thoroughly drained. There’s no room in a free society for a bureau of alcohol, tobacco, firearms and explosives. Next we’ll have a bureau of potato chips, aspirin, pointy sticks and matches if we don’t put a stop to this Progressive nonsense.

Well, OK, I guess. Nice smackdown, etc. But….
Chafitz and Gowdy (among a few others) do great YouTubes and sound bites which are very emotionally satisfying, but I’m still waiting for the part of the movie where The Good Guys Win because their actions deliver results.
There comes a point where hand wringing and pearl clutching just don’t cut it and heavy duty ass kicking needs to start. By my estimate, that was somewhere around 1975 with ATF.

I second every single word in Alien’s comment.

I’m no sage, but I doubt the ‘good guys win’ and ‘heavy duty ass kicking’ parts of the story will ever be delivered while we have an actual, (mal-)functioning government.
Chaffitz and Gowdy are useful merely for pointing out the Sirius Cybernetics Marketing Division twerps. *If* the ass kicking occurs, and *if* the good guys win, I’m afraid it will only be when sufficient levels of outrage are achieved, and the Revolution commences in earnest.
And as always, ‘if’ is the biggest word in the English language. Those phone-sanitizer, second-class type pencil necks have an awful lot of institutional cover from the actual guys with guns (who are also ‘only following orders’)

Dear God. How could any high level bureau employee think that a summons to appear before a Congressional committee was optional?
