In the late 90’s I bought a beautiful blue 8-3/8th Model 29-? ,whatever the last blue version was back then before they discontinued them forever( until they brought them back). I wanted to hunt hills deer close up, but moved to the plains shortly after. Not being stealthy enough to sneak up on a mule deer I eventually traded it for something much more useful, but oh what a wonderful gun to hold, admire and to shoot. The trigger was like butter. I still miss it.

I’ll just go ahead and say it. There’s a lot of flat surface for practicing and if you fuck it up it’s a Glock – you haven’t made it uglier.

Engravers gotta practice on something, preferably something of no real value if they screw it up.
