It’s possible that in Tams world some of the experts may look at the gadget as a threat to their worldview. However, I think that the average Glock owner looks at it in a different light. Glocks are simple, smooth sided blocks. I have five myself and have only upgraded the sights and placed tape on the grips. Everything else is stock. I’m cheap.
I look at the gadget as something that is an unnecessary add on. Will it make the Glock safer? Maybe, if you remember to use it. Would I install a gadget on my Glocks if they were free? Probably not as I am very comfortable with the way I interface with them and find no need.
Now if I shoot myself in the leg, I will get back to you. :o)
I have three Glocks, and don’t see a problem for the the gadget. To James Brack’s point, it does you no good if you don’t remember to use tutorial, but…everything you do you do so because you have done it enough times in practice to remember to do it. Same thing with the gadget.

Right. There’s a huge difference between “I thought about it and it’s not for me” and the kind of rants I’ve seen in some comments.

I have Gadgets on two of my Glocks and really like them, especially after running a DA/SA for awhile, plus when I conceal carry I AIWB.
