Stay hydrated, but don’t have open containers of water at the range proper. Most of the lead salts that are created during shooting are highly attracted to water.

Pro tip: A couple pair of nitrile gloves (Costco, Sam’s Club, Wally World, et al) in the range bag make it easy to apply and re-apply sunscreen without gooping up your hands.

A long-sleeved shirt and a broad-brimmed hat would seem to be pretty basic.
