Nifty resource
Sure, it’s got a little bit of the crazy but it has instructions on building silencers. Of course, if you’re going to pay a $200 tax, you might want it made out of more than a drinking bottle.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

After you pay the 200 dollar tax, you may not be able to afford to make it out of anything but a drinking bottle. That of course was the whole purpose of the NFA; to make the purchase of modern and effective weaponry too expensive for average citizens.
On that note, the feds would have to increase the tax to equal the inflation-adjusted value of 200 dollars in 1934, to maintain the second amendment chilling effect of the legislation. So what’s that, around four thousand dollars in today’s money?
On another note, the American people put up with that shit in 1934.

Hoping the hearing protection act passes. Then we will be sble to just make suppressors at will.

It would be neat — and probably fairly easy — to do a Liberator II type thing and publish a 3d printer design for a useable suppressor.
