Getting rid of the BATFE is a good long-term goal, but it not a good first step.
Remember: Order of operations. First you pillage, then you burn. When it comes to dismantling unconstitutional federal gun control, the right process is to repeal the laws first, and to disband the enforcement agency second.

It seems like the wrong approach. Why should the House offer to fund an agency that has no right to exist in the first place?
