Impressive shot
An Alabama man killed an 820 pound wild hog. With a .38 revolver.
I think Tam makes a fair point here about gun guys being a little too anal retentive when it comes to the press’ sloppy coverage. But there is a difference between reading the slide of a gun and making up the AK-15. Or the Oozie. Those are clearly mockable.
I’ve joked about it before. But this AutoGlove contraption makes that seem less silly. Yes, it’s a glove that simulates full auto fire. And creates the most awkward grip of a pistol I have seen.
The routine, uhm, plumbing check turned out well. Finally feeling better. It’s not the procedure. It’s the day and a half of no food and the pooping that sucked.
I’m amazed at the people who have said to me today after hearing about it, they’d never do that or get a prostate check BECAUSE BUTTS AND GAY. Seriously, people get your shit checked. There’s no need dying over something that is preventable and curable if caught early.
This has been a public service message. Seriously, get checked.
Been out. I have to do my best to do my doody. Tomorrow is colonoscopy day. Bottoms up. Then bottoms down.
No man should have to live on broth.
Unlike the video from a bit back, the suppressor in this case outlasts the 249’s barrel:
Using Castille to hawk carry guard.
And my understanding of CarryGuard (which may be incorrect) is that it basically pays out upon acquittal, which seems to make it useless in case you need it.
Gun owners are the problem, not the criminals. At least, that’s what the legislature seems to think:
Thursday, in a move that absolutely defies the slightest semblance of logic, the Democrat controlled California State Senate passed a measure that will lower the sentences for felons who used a gun in the commission of their crimes. Yes, you read that right. They are reducing sentences for criminals using guns. These are the very same Democrats that constantly create and pass stricter and stricter gun control laws, and who constantly scream, cry and whine about how guns are bad.
ATF wants to know what regulations should be modified or repealed. Says the Trace, with much butthurt:
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is polling outside interest groups about what gun regulations to eliminate following an edict from the Trump administration to cut government red tape.
In three closed-door meetings held in May and June, top ATF officials separately asked firearms-industry leaders, law enforcement officials, and representatives from gun-violence prevention groups what current regulations could be eliminated without risking public safety, according to attendees who went to one or more of the meetings.
An agenda for a May 22 meeting with gun-industry leaders, obtained by The Trace, asked attendees to consider three questions: what impact current regulations have on gun-violence prevention; what regulations need to be repealed, replaced, or modified, and what regulations are outdated.
We could repeal quite a few without thinking much about it.
Looks like June showed a drop in gun sales but it was still the second highest number for June.
Not very many given to blacks, Hispanics and women. And very few given out in general.
Anti-gun shill Ladd Everitt:
Oh, and dont worry, I am not writing this to ask you to commit to nonviolence. If you believe violence can be conquered with violence, so be it.
Well, OK.
It’s a stupid name for a bill but I like it. It could basically remove classification of suppressors as NFA firearm.s
Wait for it:

Good vacation and fun with the family.
Irregularly scheduled content to commence.
Well, not really. Out of the country for a few days for a little vacation. Light blogging. Maybe none. We’ll see. Talk amongst yourselves.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
