Surely the artwork has more than two viewing angles, the US and a handgun?
I bet if viewed from above or below one sees something like the letters “USA” or perhaps the face of John Moses Browning. I hope so, and think it should be so.

This is “Monochrome for Austin” on the University of Texas at Austin campus. Yes, those are canoes and other aluminum boats wired up together. No, it makes no damn sense to anyone, from any angle, except for the artiste who got $$$$ for it.

That is a 3D art display. From another angle it will look like the U.S.
