“Meh, so dramatic. I wasn’t prolific or popular but anyway I said what I said for myself anyway. I dropped out when I got busy but I had said most of what I wanted to say and besides I did most of my give and take at another blog or two until a notable one of those blew a fuse.
And blogger still has all my babble, no cost no bother and none of that fancy schmancy codey stuff. Swallow your professional pride, open a blogger account and transfer your content there…for posterity, and so you’ll have a place to say what you might every now and then want to say.”

I’m not sure why it’s offline for some people but not others. I can get to it fine externally, but I see some people can’t.

Its tough to keep going. Family, work, life get in the way. And fully agree with the feelign like your re-hashing arguments you already made.
If I could offer one piece of advice thought, try to maintain your url. Mine is now being used to sell chinese medicine or something.

Oh, I have owned robballen.com since 95. Domain ain’t going anywhere.
I *might* think about seeing if I can do an auto-dns update thing & maintain a readonly copy of the blog for historical purposes.
