I’d like to have one

Can they just offer the 320 with manual (ambi!) safety? I’d settle for that.

So drop safe and with a external safety?
Wow, what a deal.

I’ll just wait for the CMP to sell them. For $15,000, six background checks, ATF Form 4, and an SAT score of 1,200 or higher.

Big deal. You want a Sig, buy a 226 or 220.

Except it isn’t really the same gun: “except it will not have the anti-tamper mechanism for the striker action, nor will it have the special coatings on some of the internal parts that help it maintain lubricity under harsh conditions”.
“The commercial version will be available with or without the thumb safety, depending on customer preference”.
So what exactly makes it different from the commercial version if you take away the thumb safety, anti-tamper, and “special coating”?

The tactical turd color, Matt.
BTW, I am actually a big fan of the 320, and would like to get a midsize to go with the full I’ve already got. For whatever reason, it’s fun to shoot in a way that my Smiths aren’t.
