I recall a story from the California gun ban efforts in 1989- news crew at a LAPD range, shooting watermelons with AK- 47. FMJ bullets just punched thru, icepick style, no explosion. Helpful cop says, “Oh, you want it to blow up?” He whips out his Barretta 92 9mm and fires. News crew gets the “Assault weapon explosive terminal effects” footage it needed. Cali gun owners get screwed.
I believe that there’s some cosmic law, or some law handed to Satan as a condition for his being given rule over the world, which says that his authoritarian alliance must reveal itself to God’s people. The “Law of The Tell”, or some such.
That was a Tell.
Any elementary school kid could use a smart phone to learn what sort of gun that was, within a few minutes. The video has all the elements, right down to the color of the ejected hull revealing the gauge. We’re looking at college grads, communications majors, who’ve been through the HR screening processes to get hired. They know, or they could know in seconds if they wanted to know.
I believe that was on my local Columbus station. After I got done rolling on the floor laughing I called the station and they were clueless.
The stations locally have become politically correct in their hiring and no one with any real world experience is on their staffs anymore. (i.e. gender neutral, race neutral, intelligence neutral)

It isn’t what they don’t know that is dangerous, it is what they think they know that isn’t so.
