Derp is a process
That which was common knowledge is now derp. I remember the days of 1911 v. Glock; 9mm v. 45; AR v. AK. And on and on. All of those have virtually been agreed upon by people with more of a clue than I have. The new hottest debate seems to stem around AIWB v. WB carry of some sort. I’m an IWB carry sort of guy, generally. But, as mentioned before, I’m giving this thing a shot. And with a double action for the extra bit of safety a hammer provides.
Trust me, I’ve carried in some derpy ways in the past.

OWB on the hip. Guess who knows I have a gun? DON’T CARE!

You mean like a rifle without a rifled barrel?

Shoulder.
Having my gun locked into the holster while driving, or having it clunk around my ankles when I’m taking a ‘time out’ sealed the deal for me.
I’ve rolled around on the ground working on my jeep with a good sized carry pistol on my shoulder- with an 18rd spare mag on the weak side – with zero problems.

AIWB doesn’t work for me because of my famine-protection preparations but if it works for someone else, fine. But really … don’t touch it.

OWB at about 3:30.
Just seems to work for me.

I switched to AIWB when I broke my leg and had to use a walker to get around. Total game changer. I have a bunch of comptac IWB holsters sitting around gathering dust now

I carry a CZ IWB, do they cancel each other out or am I extra derpy?

After 10 years of carrying a Glock 19 IWB (3:00, not A), now I carry a Glock 42 in a pocket holster. Nothing special about that. But the pocket holster for my small noisemaker is a DeSantis, and its model name is “Nemesis.” That’s derp enough for me and my .380 pocket rocket.
