My sister-in-law lives in and is from Germany and she asked me to take her shooting last time she was stateside. I took her to the pistol range and showed her the ropes and she was grinning ear to ear.
It occurred to me that being born, raised, and living in Germany she has literally no chance of going handgun shooting back home.
Tons of hoops and even then I think it’s up to the discretion of the authorities. Of course the first hoop is getting past her husband (my wife’s brother), who isn’t very gun friendly.

This is exactly how we win, one new shooter at a time.

Germans can buy pistols. Your SIL could get a pistol in Germany if she was willing to jump through the hoops.

Yaoani,

I took her to the range, and he refused to come.
