That didn’t go as planned
Florida gun show sees record attendance. Good.
I just ordered a bump stock because Donald Trump says I shouldn’t have one. Sure, that issue is a political loser for us. And it won’t break my heart provided we get something in return. But I’m the uppity sort that buys things people want to ban.

I’m not surprised or angry that Trump is calling for a bump stock ban. I knew he was wishy-washy on many things I find sacred when he was elected. I’m pissed because Trump is not doing the one thing he is famous for and most people elected him for, “You’re fired!” He needs to be saying that a lot and the FBI agent(s) who shitcanned the tips on the shooter would be a good start.

And just how do they intend to enforce this ban on a hunk of plastic that could easily be 3D printed?

Raven, you know that you’re not supposed to use rational arguments here! Only feelings matter, results don’t.
🙂
The bigger problem with “bump stock” bans is that they are often worded in such a way that they outlaw all improvements to any firearm. And, cynic that I am, I’m certain that this “sloppy” wording is intentional. If the Feds can use the ban to do a Randy Weaver job on a gunsmith who gives your 1911 triggers a tune-up, that would be a good thing in the view of the enemy.

I bought one too, right after Vegas, but sadly lost it when my canoe capsized.

HL,
I had the same thing happen. Bought one after Vegas and promptly lost it. So I bought another one and my damned dog chewed it all up and I had to throw it out.
