Good news for Tennessee
One of our byzantine blue laws will go away. Soon, you can buy wine and liquor on Sundays.

But will you still have to make two separate purchases to do so?

This is good, albeit, a small move toward Liberty. Religionists and politicians always like more rules and regulations. The Bible, read objectively, is actually pro Liberty. “…where the Spirit of the LORD is, there is Liberty” (II Cor. 3:17). “one man esteems one day above another: another esteems every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.” (Romans 14:5). Liberty frightens religious people and politicians!
Now our Tennessee legislators need to read and obey the Declaration of Rights in the State Constitution and in pursuance thereof, REPEAL numerous laws.
“The more numerous the laws, the more corrupt the state.” –Cornelius Tacitus, Roman historian

We just got Sunday sales in Indiana. Between noon and 8pm of course. And hey, the world hasn’t ended! Still can’t buy cold beer in the grocery store though. It’s about time we do away with all the stupid liquor laws.
