Three of them are from Florida, which also has a proposed amendment on the ballot to make most guns illegal. I fear for the future of my home state.

“Michigan Rep. Fred Upton, who represents a moderate district in Michigan and is widely known for his bipartisanship”
“Bipartisanship” is just another phrase for “RINO”.

@Divemedic, absolutely we are at a crossroad.
As you know Fla is three states…dark blue in the southeast, mouseville and tallahassee, deep red across most of the rest of the state…and purple in the transitional/marginal districts where these guys are working both sides, elected as R’s and playing to the D’s.
I don’t see those first two zones changing so let us hope for and work for choosing the “right” turn at those forks in the road, and guard against scared rabbits like Scott selling us out to cover their asses.
Fla is like many states in that way with even NY and CA mostly red but wagged by the blue dogs in the cities. Immigration and infiltration will be the keys to survival of the state and the nation as Constitutional Republics. Major battles ahead.

Huck, as George Carlin put it: “The word ‘bipartisan’ means some larger-than-usual deception is being carried out.”

How are “universal background checks” to be implemented and enforced without violating 4th and 5th Amendment rights? Those are rights that supposed liberals once strongly supported. But now they’ve morphed into National Socialists or Soviet Socialists, especially when it comes to denying the right of armed security to the People, just as was done in those and other, totalitarian, murderous regimes.

Be sure that your reps hear from you and understand that the correct term for “universal background check” is a euphemism for “universal registration”, are a sneak attack on the the last bastion of free exercise of 2A commerce and an end-run to a registration data base and seizure.

How about the fact that nobody holds Democrats accountable for supporting unconstitutional and immoral legislation. People just expect it. Same for the SC Justices….just sickening.
